 “중국은 ‘북핵용인’ 발언 철회하라”
 자총, 북 핵개발을 사실상 용인한 중국 규탄

한국자유총연맹(회장 박창달. 이하 자총)은 23일. 중국 외교부의 “북한도 핵을 이용할 권리가 있다”는 대변인의 발언에 대해 “사실상 북한의 핵개발 및 보유를 인정하고, 한반도비핵화선언과 6자회담 정신을 무시한 것”이라며 즉각적인 해명과 철회를 촉구했다.
  
자총은 성명을 통해, “북한의 핵개발을 사실상 용인하는 한편 중국 어선이 우리 해경경비함을 들이받고 침몰한 사건을 되레「한국책임」이라며 피해 보상을 요구한 중국 정부의 태도에 분노를 금치 못한다”며, 이같이 주장했다. 
  
아울러, 중국 어선이 서해에서 불법 조업 중 우리 해경 경비함을 들이받아 사망·실종자가 발생한 사건과 관련해, “우리 정부에 되레 책임을 전가하며 ‘피해 보상’을 요구하고 나선 중국 정부의 태도를 반국제법적인 억지로 규정한다”며, “우리 측 배타적 경제수역(EEZ)을 침범하여, 행패를 부린 중국 어선의 행위에 대한 모든 책임은 중국 측이 져야 할 것”이라고 강조했다. 
  
계속해서, “중국 정부가 최근 천안함 폭침사건과 연평도 포격사건에 이어 다시 이처럼 비이성적 태도를 보이고 있는 것에 대해 강력한 유감을 표한다”고 했다.
