6자회담 긴급협의 인내심 갖고 추진 中 외교부장

중국은 한반도에서 긴장을 줄이기 위해 미국과 미국동맹국들이 6자 회담 수석대표 긴급 협의에 나서도록 설득하는 노력을 끈질기게 펼칠 것이라고 미국 소리 방송이 보도 했다.
중국 외교부의 양제츠 부장은 12일 관영 신화 통신과의 회견에서 중국은 미국과 한국, 일본이 꺼려하고 있음에도 불구하고 이달 중에 긴급 협의를 가질 수 있도록 계속 추진할 것이라고 밝혔다.
미국과 한국, 일본의 고위 외교관들은 북한의 이른바 최근 도발과 전쟁 행위들에 대해 단합된 전선을 구축하기 위해 지난 주 워싱턴에서 만났다.
이들 3나라는 장래 외교적 노력을 펼치는데 있어 중국은 중추적인 역할을 담당하고 있다고 말했다.
이들 3나라는 현 시점에서 그 같은 움직임이 북한의 좋지않은 행동에 대한 보상으로 비쳐지지 않을까 우려해 북한과 중국, 러시아 당국자들도 참여하는 6자회담 긴급 협의에 동참하라는 중국측 초청을 거부했다.
양제츠 부장은 모든 당사자들이 성실함으로 보여주고 공동 노력해야할 때라야 만이 한반도의 긴장은 완화될 수 있을 것이라고 덧붙였다.
