 “北 알카에다에 테러사주 가능성”
 “이슬람권 체류자 동태 파악해야”

G20정상회의와 관련, 북한과 알카에다의 연계 가능성에 대한 우려의 목소리가 커지고 있다.
 

국회 정보위 소속 한나라당 이은재 의원은 5일 주요당직자회의에서 “G20 정상회의를 전후해 북한이 대남(對南)테러 공작을 위해 알카에다 조직과 깊이 연계할 가능성이 있다”고 밝혔다.
 

이 의원은 “북한이 천안함 사건 때문에 직접 테러를 하는 데 부담이 있는 만큼 알카에다 조직이 동원될 가능성이 크다”며 “현재 국가정보원 및 관계기관이 북한의 이슬람 테러단체 사주 가능성을 주의하고 있다”고 밝혔다.
 

특히 북한이 2005년 아프가니스탄 반군에게 미사일을 판매하는 등, 오사마 빈 라덴과 거래했다는 고발 전문 웹사이트 ‘위키리크스’의 문건 내용을 소개하기도 했다.
 

그는 “국내 종북세력들이 이슬람 권익보호를 내세워 반정부 투쟁 선동을 꾀하고 있다”며 “국내 거주 불법체류자들이 반정부 투쟁을 하고 있고, 과격사상을 전하거나 해외 테러단체와 연계된 것을 확인한 바 있는 만큼 이슬람권 체류자의 동태 및 국내 종북세력과의 연계 등을 정확히 파악, G20 테러 예방책을 마련해야 할 것”이라고 강조했다.
