14일 이명박 대통령의 라디오 연설과 관련, “혼란의 마침표를 찍고 진정한 국정쇄신의 계기가 되길 기대한다”는 네티즌 UCC가 동영상 포털 사이트를 통해 배포됐다. 
 
연설 직후 배포된 이 영상은 “대한민국의 미래를 걱정하는 대통령의 고뇌에 찬 모습이 보였다”며 “대통령이 밝힌 문제 의식에도 공감한다”는 내용을 담고 있다. 
 
아울러 영상은 “국회의원 모두가 당을 떠나고 정치적 입장을 버리고 진짜 대한민국을 위하는 일이 무엇인지 결정해야 한다”며 “4대강 살리기도 완공하면 확실히 성과를 볼 수 있는 좋은 국책 사업이니 국민모두가 대통령을 믿고 끝까지 완수했으면 좋겠다”고 했다.
