 현역 육군소장 간첩혐의로 수사
 작전계획5027 등 군사기밀 넘긴 혐의

현역 육군소장이 간첩혐의로 긴급체포돼 당국의 수사를 받고 있는 것으로 알려져 세간이 발칵 뒤집혔다.
 

4일 주요 언론보도들에 따르면, 문제의 인물은 ○군사령부 참모장으로 근무하는 김모 소장으로 지난 수년간 제3자를 통해 북측에 우리 軍의 작전계획과 교범 등을 넘겨준 혐의를 받고 있다.
 

그가 넘겨준 것은 북한과의 전면전에 대비한 극비의 한·미 연합 군사작전 계획(일명 ‘작전계획 5027’)인 것으로 전해졌다. 이는 북한군 도발로 전쟁이 벌어졌을 때 한·미연합군의 초기 억제 전력 배치와 북한군 전략목표 파괴에서부터 북진과 상륙작전, 점령지 군사통제 등의 전략까지 들어있는 최고도 극비 군사 작전계획인 것으로 알려져 있다.
 

김 소장은 노무현 정부 때 ○군단 참모장으로 일하던 당시 軍의 직계후배이자 전직 안기부 요원인 박모씨에게 포섭됐다고 한다. 안기부 요원 시절 ‘흑금성’이란 공작명으로 대북공작을 했던 박 씨는 1997년 신분이 공개되면서 공작임무를 그만뒀는데, 이처럼 ‘대북공작원’이던 그가 ‘대남공작원’이 되어 버린 것.
 

박 씨 역시 북한으로부터 공작금을 받고 군사기밀을 넘겨준 혐의로 구속돼 당국의 조사를 받고 있다. 당국은 이와함께 예비역 중령 손모(방위산업체 L사 부장)씨도 같은 혐의로 구속했다.
 

당국은 계속해서 영관급을 포함한 현역 장교 여러 명이 박씨 등을 통해 군사기밀을 유출한 정황이 있는 것으로 보고 수사를 확대하고 있다.
