천안함 합조단 파편서 일련번호 식별
북한의 글씨체와 동일하다고 판단

천안함 침몰과 관련, ‘민·군 합동조사단’(이하 합조단)이 백령도 해상에서 수거한 어뢰 프로펠러 파편에서 어뢰 제조내역을 말해줄 고유의 일련번호를 식별한 것으로 알려졌다.
19일 군 관계자의 말을 인용한 언론보도들에 따르면, 프로펠러 날개로 추정되는 파편과 중심축에 연결된 부분으로 보이는 파편을 백령도 해상에서 수거했으며 합조단은 이 파편에서 일련번호를 식별했다.
합조단은 일련번호가 북한의 글씨체와 동일하다고 판단, 북한의 어뢰에 의해 천안함이 침몰했다는 결론을 도출했다. 또 조사에 참여하고 있는 미국, 영국, 호주 전문가들도 이를 증거로 천안함을 침몰시킨 수중무기가 어뢰라는 사실에 동의한 것으로 전해졌다.
한편 합조단은 20일 공개할 조사결과 발표문에 탄두 250㎏ 안팎의 음향추적 중어뢰가 천안함을 두 동강 냈다는 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시할 예정이다.
