 포스코건설 우즈베키스탄 고속도로 공사 수주
 1.3억불 규모, A380 고속도로 공사 B2, B3, B4공구

포스코건설(사장 정동화)은 13일 오후(현지시간) 우즈베키스탄(Uzbekistan)의 수도 타쉬켄트(Tashkent)에서 우즈베키스탄 재정경제부 산하 로드펀드(Road Fund)가 발주한 A380 고속도로 B2, B3, B4 3개 공구 공사에 관한 계약을 체결했다.

 
이날 서명식에는 자말 슈쿠로프(Jamol Shukurov) 로드펀드 사장, 김익희 포스코건설 부사장 등 약 15여명의 내외인사가 참석했다.

 
중앙아시아 경제협력 (CAREC, Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation) 프로젝트의 일환인 이번 공사에서 포스코건설이 수주한 3개 공구는 메샤클 (Meshakul)에서 투르쿨 (Turtkul)까지 연장길이 91km 구간이다. 

 
포스코건설은 총 사업비 1억 3,215만불(한화 약 1,512억 원)을 투입해 4차선 콘크리트 포장공사와 부대시설을 건설하게 된다. 오는 7월 중 착공해 2011년 하반기 완공을 목표로 하고 있다.

 
이번 수주는 포스코건설의 첫 중앙아시아 진출이라는 점에서 그 의미가 크다. 포스코건설은 이번 사업을 필두로 우즈베키스탄 내 추가공사 수주와 카자흐스탄을 비롯한 CIS국가 신규시장 개척에 주력할 계획이다.
