윤석열 대선 예비후보가 5일 국민의힘의 20대 대통령후보로 확정됐다.
국민의힘은 이날 오후 서울 용산 백범김구기념관에서 열린 제2차 전당대회에서 당원투표(50%)와 일반
국민여론조사(50%)에서 1위에 오른 윤석열 후보를 대선후보로 공식 지명했다. 대선후보 발표는 오후 3
시쯤 이뤄졌다.
윤 후보는 당원투표에서 21만34표를, 국민여론조사에서 환산득표수 13만7929표(37.94%)%를 각각 얻
어 최종 합계 34만7963표를 득표했다. 최종 합산 득표율은 47.85%였다.
6.35%p 차로 2위를 기록한 홍준표 후보는 선거인단 12만6519표, 여론조사 지지율 48.21%(환산득표수
17만5267표)를 각각 얻어 최종 합산 30만1786표(41.50%)를 얻었다.
이어 유승민 후보는 당원투표에서 1만5529표, 여론조사에서 10.67%(환산득표수 3만8775표)를 득표했
다. 최종 합산 득표수는 5만4303표(7.47%)다. 원희룡 후보는 당원투표 1만1487표, 여론조사 지지율
3.19%(환산득표수 1만1598표)로 집계됐다. 최종 합산 득표수는 2만3085표(3.17%)다.
윤 후보와 홍 후보는 경선 과정에서 '초접전'으로 2강 구도를 형성하는 등 이날 발표 때가지도 뚜렷한
우세를 가늠하기 어려운 상황이었다.
그러나 윤 후보는 여론조사에서 홍 후보에게 10.27%p차로 밀렸음에도 당심에서 압도적 표차로 홍 후
보를 따돌리고 승리했다. 당원 득표수에서 두 사람의 격차는 8만3515표였다.
윤 후보는 수락연설에서 "이제 우리는 원팀"이라며 "정권교체의 대의 앞에서 분열할 자유도 없다"고 강
조했다. 윤 후보는 "반드시 정권교체를 이루겠다"며 "분열과 분노의 정치, 부패와 약탈의 정치를 끝내고
새로운 대한민국을 반드시 만들겠다"고 약속했다.
국민의힘은 지난 1~2일 모바일 당원투표, 3~4일 당원 ARS 투표와 일반 국민여론조사를 각각 실시했
다. 국민의힘은 당원투표 50%, 여론조사 결과 50%를 반영해 최종 대선후보를 선출했다. 이번 경선은
당원선거인단 56만9059명 중 총 36만3569명이 참여해 역대급 투표율인 63.89%를 기록했다.
