 미·북 정상 합의문 내용 아직 비공개…트럼프 “비핵화 과정 매우 빨리 시작”

도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 김정은 북한 국무위원장이 12일 오후 공동 합의문에 서명했지만, 아직 합의문의 구체적인 내용은 공개되지 않고 있다. 정상회담 핵심 의제인 북한 비핵화에 양측이 어느 수준으로 합의했는지도 알려지지 않았다. 

트럼프 대통령은 정상회담이 열린 싱가포르 센토사섬 카펠라 호텔에서 서명식 중 “우리는 매우 중요한 문서, 매우 포괄적인 문서에 서명한다”며 추후 기자회견에서 자세히 설명하겠다고 밝혔다. 트럼프 대통령은 싱가포르 시각 오후 4시(한국 시각 오후 5시에) 기자회견을 할 예정이다.

비핵화와 관련해 트럼프 대통령은 북한 비핵화 과정이 매우 빨리 시작될 것이라고만 말했다. 그는 ‘김정은이 비핵화에 동의했나’라는 질문에 “우리는 그 과정을 매우 빨리, 매우 매우 빨리 시작한다. 틀림없이 (그렇다)”라고 답했다. 

앞서 CNN은 미 정부 관리를 인용, “두 정상이 회담 진전을 인정하고 현재 대화가 계속되도록 약속하는 합의에 서명할 것”이라고 전했다. 트럼프 대통령은 앞서 김정은과 업무 오찬 후 산책 중 기자들을 만나 “우리는 지금 서명하러 간다”고 말했다. 그는 어떤 문서에 서명하는지는 밝히지 않았다.
