NSC 상임위 남북고위급회담 재추진 협의
"북미정상회담 성공 위해 남북 간 여러채널로 조율"

청와대는 17일 정의용 국가안보실장 주재로 국가안전보장회의(NSC) 상임위원회 회의를 열고 북측이 일
방 취소한 남북고위급회담을 다시 갖기 위해 북측과 다시 협의하기로 했다.
청와대는 이날 보도자료에서 "NSC상임위원들은 4.27남북정상회담에서 합의한 판문점선언이 차질 없이
이행돼야 한다는 입장을 재확인하고, 남북고위급회담의 조속한 개최를 위해 북측과 계속 협의해 나가기로
했다"고 밝혔다.
상임위 위원들은 북미정상회담이 '상호존중의 정신' 하에 성공적으로 진행될 수 있도록 한미 간과 남북 간
에 여러 채널을 통해 긴밀히 입장을 조율해 나가기로 했다.
또 북한의 풍계리 핵실험장 폐기 참관과 6.15공동행사 준비 등 향후 남북관계 일정들을 판문점선언의 합
의 정신에 따라 차질 없이 이행해 나가기로 했다고 밝혔다.[데일리안 = 이충재 기자]
