 한국당 “TV조선 압수수색…명백한 언론탄압”
 

"드루킹 사건 물타기 하려는 의도"

자유한국당은 26일 경찰이 TV조선 압수수색을 시도한 데 대해 “드루킹 사건의 핵심 의혹을 물타기 하려
는 것”이라며 “명백한 언론탄압”이라고 비판했다.

정태옥 대변인은 이날 논평에서 “경찰은 드루킹 사건의 핵심인 더불어민주당과의 커넥션 수사는 미적대
면서도 현 정권의 눈엣가시 같은 방송사 수습기자의 실수는 속전속결로 수사한다”며 “잘못된 관행에 불과
한 사소한 사건을 방송사와 엮어 드루킹 사건의 핵심 의혹을 물타기 하려는 것”이라고 지적했다.

이어 “이번 기회에 자신들의 마음에 들지 않는 방송사를 탄압하려는 속셈을 분명히 하고 있다”며 “아마도 
압수수색을 시작으로 사소한 혐의를 잡고, 세무조사는 물론 방송재허가 문제까지 물고 늘어질 것”이라고 
강조했다. 

그러면서 “이는 수사를 빌미로 한 명백한 언론탄압이다. 이 정부가 앞으로 무슨 일을 벌일지 그저 한없이 
두려울 뿐”이라고 우려했다. 

앞서 경찰은 지난 25일 드루킹이 운영한 경기 파주시 느릅나무 출판사 절도사건 수사와 관련해 TV조선 본
사와 절도 혐의를 받고 있는 TV조선 기자 자택에 대한 압수수색을 시도했다.[데일리안 = 황정민 기자]
