세금포인트 사용 기준 내달부터 대폭 완화된다
개인납세자 사용한도 폐지…법인사업자 500점부터 사용 가능해져
"납세보증보험증권 발급수수료 절감 등 자금 압박 해소 도움 기대"

국세청은 다음 달 2일부터 중소규모 납세자가 세금포인트를 보다 많이 활용할 수 있도록 사용 기준을
완화한다고 27일 밝혔다.
세금포인트는 납세자가 납부한 세액을 적립 받아 추후 국세 납부기한 연장이 필요할 때 이를 납세담보
면제에 사용할 수 있는 제도다.
이번 세금포인트 사용 기준 완화로 우선 개인납세자인 경우 최소 50점부터 사용할 수 있었던 종전 사용
한도를 폐지, 누구나 최소 1점부터 사용할 수 있게 된다. 법인사업자도 현행 1000점 이상에서 500점 이
상으로 최소 사용 기준이 크게 낮아진다.
국세청은 이 같은 사용 기준 완화로 약 2200만명의 개인납세자와 1만5000여 법인납세자가 추가로 세
금포인트를 이용할 수 있게 될 것으로 내다봤다.
특히 중소규모 상공인이 그 동안 활용하지 못한 소액의 포인트를 사용함으로써 납세보증보험증권 발급
수수료가 절감되는 등 자금 압박을 해소하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
국세청 관계자는 "앞으로도 서민경제의 안정을 위해 다양한 세정 지원방안을 적극적으로 추진해 나가
