정부 北에 “금강산행사 취소 유감” 전통문 보내
조명균 통일장관, 리선권 北조평통 위원장 앞으로 전통문 보내
정부는 북한이 지난 29일 밤 다음달 4일 금강산에서 열기로 했던 남북 합동문화공연 취소를 우리 측에 일
방적으로 통보한데 대한 유감의 뜻을 북측에 전했다.
정부는 30일 북측에 보낸 전통문에서 "북측이 어제 우리 언론보도 등을 문제 삼아 예정되었던 금강산행
사를 취소한 데 대해 유감을 표명했다"고 통일부가 전했다.
통일부 당국자는 이날 기자들과 만나 "어렵게 남북관계 개선의 첫발 뗀 상황에서 남북 모두 상호이해와
존중의 정신을 바탕으로 합의 사항을 반드시 이행해야 된다고 언급했다"고 전했다.
이 당국자는 또 "남북 양측이 평창올림픽과 패럴림픽의 성공적 진행을 위해 적극 협력하기로 합의한 만큼
합의한 모든 행사들이 차질없이 진행되어야 할 것이라는 입장도 전달했다"고 덧붙였다.
이 전통문은 이날 점심 경에 조명균 통일부 장관 명의로 리선권 고위급 회담 수석대표 앞으로 보내졌다.
