던퍼드 美합참의장 내일 한국 온다

조셉 던퍼드〈사진〉 미국 합참의장이 13일부터 1박2일 예정으로 한국을 방문한다고 군 당국이 11일 밝
혔다.
던퍼드 의장은 방한 기간 중 북한의 위협에 맞서는 한·미 연합 방위 태세를 점검하고 송영무 국방장관, 이
순진 합참의장 등 우리 군 수뇌부를 만나 한반도 정세를 논의할 예정이다. 문재인 대통령 예방 일정도 조
율 중인 것으로 전해졌다. 던퍼드 의장이 직접 방한 의미를 설명하는 기자 간담회도 예정돼 있다.
