 미중검증 가능한 한반도 비핵화 추구

“미국과 중국은 완벽하고 검증가능하며 되돌릴 수 없는 한반도 비핵화를 촉구한다”고 렉스 틸러슨 미 국
무장관이 밝혔다.

미국의소리방송은 틸러슨 장관은 지난 23일 미-중 외교안보대화를 마치고 제임스 매티스 국방장관과 공
동으로 연 기자회견에서 이같이 보도 했다.
 
틸러슨 장관은 또 “미중은 북한이 불법적인 핵무기 프로그램과 탄도미사일 실험을 중단할 것을 촉구한
다”며 “양국은 유엔 안전보장이사회 대북 제재 결의안들을 완벽하고 엄격하게 실행할 것”이라고 말했다.
 
워싱턴 DC에서 열린 이번 회담에 미국 측에서는 렉스 틸러슨 국무장관과 짐 매티스 국방장관, 중국 측에
서는 양제츠 외교담당 국무위원과 팡펑후이 중국 인민해방군 총참모장이 참석했다.
 
이번 고위급 대화는 지난 4월 플로리다주 마라라고에서 열린 도널드 트럼프 대통령과 시진핑 중국 국가주
석의 정상회담에서 합의했다.
