 전국 5만대 축산차량에‘농장출입 스티커’ 부착 추진

전국 모든 축산차량에 쉽게 식별 가능한 ‘농장 출입 스티커’ 부착이 추진된다.
 

농림축산식품부는 전국 4만9000여 대의 축산차량을 대상으로 식별 스티커를 제작·배포하고, 이를 차량
에 부착토록 지도할 계획이라고 19일 밝혔다.
 
축산차량등록제는 가축운반차량, 사료운반차량 등 축산차량을 시·군에 등록하고 차량무선인식장치
(GPS단말기)를 장착해 운행토록 함으로써 국가동물방역통합시스템(KAHIS)을 통해 축산시설 출입정보
를 관리하는 제도다.
 
현재 축산차량 소유자는 시·군에 축산차량 등록 후 GPS를 장착하고 등록마크를 발급받아 차량 앞유리
에 부착하고 있으나, 등록마크의 크기가 작아(지름 8㎝) 외부에서 육안으로 축산차량 여부를 확인하는
데 어려움이 있었다.
 
이에 따라 농식품부는 축산차량 전·후·측면 표시 의무화를 지난 4월 발표한 ‘AI·구제역 방역 개선대
책’에 포함하고 ‘가축전염병 예방법’ 개정을 추진하고 있다. 식별 스티커는 차량 앞면 보조석 유리창 내
부에 부착하도록 지도할 방침이다.
 
농식품부는 “이렇게 법률 개정 이전이지만 조기에 시행키로 한 것은 이번 AI에 대응해 확산 매개체 역
할을 하는 축산차량 관리를 강화하기 위한 취지를 담고 있다”고 설명했다.
 
농식품부는 축산차량등록제 대상 축산차량 소유자들에게 관할 지자체 등록, GPS장착(정상작동)과 함
께 식별 스티커를 부착하는 등 축산차량등록제 이행에 적극 협조를 당부했다.
