CNN·WP 미 대선 TV토론 승자는 힐러리

미국 CNN 방송 등 현지 주요 언론이 26일(현지 시각) 열린 첫 대선 TV토론에 대해 “대선 TV토론의 승자는 힐러리”라고 보도했다.
CNN방송은 여론조사기관인 ORC와의 공동으로 TV토론 시청자를 상대로 실시간 여론조사를 실시했다.
그 결과 전체적으로 클린턴이 잘했다는 응답이 62％로 트럼프가 잘했다는 답변(27%)에 비해 크게 앞섰다.
주요 현안을 얼마나 잘 이해했는지에 대해서 클린턴은 68％, 트럼프는 27％를 얻었다.
또 대통령직을 수행하기에 누가 더 적합하냐는 질문에는 클린턴이 67％, 트럼프가 32％를 기록했다.
트럼프가 ‘대통령직을 수행할 수 있다고 보느냐’는 질문에는 응답자의 43％만 ‘그렇다’라고 답했으며 응답자의 55％가 ‘그렇지 않다’고 답했다.
워싱턴포스트(WP)도 “클린턴을 승자로 트럼프를 패자”로 평가했다.
WP는 “클린턴이 완벽하지는 않았지만 트럼프보다는 훨씬 나았다”며 “트럼프는 이번 토론에 대해 충분히 준비돼 있지 않은 모습을 보였다”고 보도했다.
