원로 코미디언 구봉서씨 별세
한국 코미디계의 대부로 꼽히는 원로 코미디언 구봉서씨가 27일 오전 1시59분 노환으로 별세했다. 향년 90세.

평양 출신인 구씨는 영화 400여편과 라디오 프로그램 1000여편에 출연하는 등 영화와 방송을 오가며 활발히 활동했다. 유행어 '김수한무 거북이와 두루미~'의 주인이기도 하다.
구씨는 1945년 대동상고를 졸업하고 태평양가극단에서 악사 생활을 하며 연예계 활동을 시작했다. 1960~70년대 한국 코미디 전성기를 이끌었고 방송 시대가 열린 후에는 MBC에서 방송된 '웃으면 복이 와요'에 15년 8개월 동안 출연해 큰 인기를 누렸다.
구씨는 지난 2000년 MBC코미디언부문 명예의 전당에 올랐고 2006년 제13회 대한민국 연예예술상 연예예술발전상을 수상했다. 2013년에는 대중문화예술상 은관문화훈장을 받았다.
구씨는 6년 전부터 노환으로 휠체어를 타고 다녔다. 매주 교회를 찾았고 지난해 3월에는 KBS1 '인순이의 토크드라마 그대가 꽃'에 출연했다.
빈소는 서울 강남성모병원 32호실에 마련됐고, 장지는 모란공원이다.
