인플루엔자(독감) 의심환자가 해를 거듭하며 최고치를 기록하고 있는 가운데, 오는 3월까지 유행이 이어질 수 있어 주의가 당부된다.
21일 질병관리본부에 따르면 2016년 7주차(2월 7~13일)에 38도 이상 고열과 기침, 목 아픔 등의 증상을 나타낸 인플루엔자 의심환자 수가 외래 환자 1000명당 53.8명에 이르렀다는 설명이다. 이는 한 주 전(1000명당 41.3명)보다 30% 급증한 결과다.
이와 관련 경남의 한 소아과의원에서는 하루 동안 인플루엔자 검사를 받은 어린이 119명 중 69명이 확진된 경우도 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
이에 일선 병원에서는 인플루엔자 유행세가 3월까지 이어질 수 있어 학생들의 입학과 개학에도 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 지적했다.[데일리안 = 스팟뉴스팀]
