 일본 집단 자위권 법안 국회 통과

일본의 아베 신조 총리가 추진해온 집단자위권 법안이 19일 국회를 통과했습니다. 일본 참의원은 집단자위권 등을 행사할 수 있도록 하는 11개 안보 관련 법안을 이날 새벽 본회의에서 찬성 148, 반대 90으로 가결했습니다. 이에 따라 아베 총리가 지난해 7월부터 추진해온 집단자위권 행사를 위한 법률 정비가 마무리됐습니다.
  
  이번에 통과된 11개 법안 중에는 집단적 자위권 행사 외에도 자위대의 상시 해외 파견을 가능토록 하는 국제평화지원법안이 포함돼 있습니다.
  
  또 자위대가 전 세계에서 미군 등을 후방에서 지원할 수 있도록 했습니다. 한반도 유사 상황이 발생했을 때 자위대가 미군의 장비나 무기를 방호하는 등 역할을 확대할 가능성도 있습니다. 이로써 일본이 공격받지 않는 한 방어만 한다는 일본의 ‘전수방위’ 원칙은 사실상 폐기됐습니다.
  
  미국은 일본의 집단 자위권 움직임에 긍정적인 입장입니다. 집단적 자위권이란 동맹국이 공격당했을 때 이를 자국에 대한 공격으로 간주해 반격할 수 있는 권리를 말합니다.
