 대한항공 땅콩 회항 당시 동영상 일반 공개하며 회항 아니다 주장

대한항공 항공기 회항 사건 당시 미 JFK공항에서 찍힌 CCTV 동영상이 일반에 공개됐다.

이 동영상에는 지난 해 12월 5일 0시 53분(현지시각) 조현아(41) 전 대한항공 부사장이 탄 뉴욕발 인천행 대한항공 KE086편 항공기가 7번 탑승구 연결통로(브릿지)에서 떨어져 토잉카에 끌려 후진했다가 다시 되돌아오는 4분 가량의 '램프리턴' 정황이 담겨있다.

비행기를 기준으로 북서쪽 방향에서 촬영된 이 영상에서 비행기는 0시53분38초(현지시각) 후진하기 시작해 23초간 약17?를 후진한 뒤 54분01초에 정지한다. 이후 3분2초동안 제자리에 멈췄다 57분03초에 다시 전진, 57분42초에 브릿지로 되돌아온다. 

앞서 검찰은 대한항공측이 국토부 조사때 제출한 이 동영상을 증거자료로 확보해 조씨에 대한 첫 재판이 열린 19일 처음으로 취재진에 공개했다. 

검찰은 “동영상 속 항공기 이동 시간대와 기장-관제탑 등 과의 교신 내용 시간대를 맞춰보면 항공기가 어떤 과정을 통해 어떻게 회항하게 됐는지 등 회항 경위를 파악할 수 있다“고 말했다. 

반면 대한항공 측은 ”동영상을 보면 비행기가 활주로도 아닌 주기장 내에서 17m가량 차량(토잉카)에 의해 밀어서 돌아온 것으로 항로 변경이라고 할 수 없다“면서 조씨에게 적용된 항공기항로변경 혐의를 부인했다.
