 이정현 의원 추석보너스 387만원 반납해
 "봉투에 387만원을 넣어왔는데 도저히 이 돈을 쓸 수 없다"

브레이크뉴스 문흥수 기자= 이정현 새누리당 최고위원은 15일 "가슴에 찔려 도저히 쓸 수 없다"며 추석보너스 전액을 반납했다. 이 최고위원은 이날 인천아시안게임 주경기장에서 열린 현장최고위원회의에서 "봉투에 387만원을 넣어왔는데 도저히 이 돈을 쓸 수 없다"며 이같이 밝혔다.

 
그는 "추석을 전후해 지역 구석구석 다니며 다양한 분들을 만나면서 많이 들었던 비난 중에 하나가 바로 추석보너스 380만원 받고 배부르더냐는 말"이라며 "국회에서 일도 안하고 민생법안도 챙기지 못하면서 보너스는 그렇게 당당하고 떳떳하게 챙겨가냐는 질책을 많이 들었다"고 전했다.

 
이어 그는 "어제까지도 비난을 들었다"면서 "비난을 매일 몇번씩 들으니 가슴에 찔려 도저히 쓸 수 없었다. 공식적인 반환방법이 없어 오늘 이 돈을 국회의장실에 맡길 것"이라고 말했다.

 
이 최고위원이 추석보너스를 반납함에 따라 다른 여야 의원들 중에서도 반납 사례가 뒤따를지 주목된다.
