경제민주화 중단 촉구 지식인선언

자유경제원(원장 전원책)은 오는 3일 오전 10시 프레스센터 19층 기자회견장에서 ‘경제민주화 입법 중단을 촉구하는 지식인 선언’ 행사를 개최한다고 최근 밝혔다.
6월에 국회가 열리면 경제활동을 위축시킬 경제민주화 법안들이 쏟아져 나올 것으로 예상됨에 따라 지식인들이 모여 대한민국의 앞날을 걱정하고 정치인들이 올바른 방향으로 나아갈 수 있도록 하자는 게 이번 행사의 취지다.
자유경제원은 “국회는 포퓰리즘에 치우친 경제죽이기 입법을 중단하고 경제 회복과 일자리 창출을 위한 경제살리기 입법에 동참하라!”고 밝혔다.
행사에는 학자, 문화예술인, 종교인, NGO활동가 등 지식인들이 대거 참여할 예정이다. 선언문 낭독, 국회 동참 호소, 피켓 퍼포먼스, 질의응답 등의 순서가 마련돼 있다.
