지난달 30일 발사에 성공한 한국 최초의 우주발사체 나로호(KSLV-I)에서 위성 보호 덮개(페어링)와 발사체 1단, 나로과학위성이 성공적으로 분리되는 장면을 담은 영상이 4일 공개됐다.
한국항공우주연구원은 이날 나로호 상단부 전자탑재체에 페어링 방향과 발사체 1단 방향으로 설치된 2대의 카메라가 촬영한 영상을 공개됐다.
항우연이 공개한 9분 4초 분량의 이 영상에는 페어링과 발사체 1단, 나로과학 위성이 분리되는 장면이 담겨 있다.
지난달 30일 오후 4시에 발사된 나로호에서 페어링은 발사 3분 35초만에, 발사체 1단은 3분51초만에 분리됐다. 발사 6분 35초만에 2단 로켓이 점화됐고, 나로과학위성은 정확히 발사 9분 만에 분리돼 목표궤도에 안착했다.
