 지난해 외국인 직접투자 사상 최대 163억 달러

지난해 외국인직접투자(FDI)가 사상 최대치를 기록했다.

 
3일 지식경제부에 따르면 지난해 신고기준 FDI는 지난 2011년 136억7000만 달러보다 18.9% 증가한 162억6000만 달러로 집계됐다. 　


국가별로 보면 일본은 전년 대비 98.4% 늘어난 45억 4100만 달러를 투자했다. 제조업(68.0% 증가), 서비스업(142.9% 증가) 모두 대폭 증가했다.   

 
미국은 지난해 동기 대비 54.9% 증가한 36억 7400만 달러로, 제조업이 65.2% 늘어나 6.2% 증가에 그친 서비스업을 크게 앞질렀다.  

 
중화권의 투자도 크게 늘어 40억 600만 달러를 기록했다. 이는 전년 동기 대비 106.6% 늘어난 실적이다.

 
홍콩이 192%로 가장 높은 증가율을 보였고 싱가포르와 중국이 130%와 11.7%로 그 뒤를 이었다.업종별로는 지역개발 등 서비스업이 122%로 크게 증가했다. 

 
반면 유럽연합(EU)은 지난해 대비 46.6% 감소한 26억 8900만 달러로 집계됐다.

 
지경부는 자유무역협정(FTA) 발효, 국가 신용등급 상향 등 외국인 투자에 호의적인 환경이 조성된 것을 역대 최대 실적 달성의 요인으로 꼽았다.

 
또 일본 부품소재 기업의 투자와 중화권의 관광분야 투자가 성장한 것도 도움이 됐다고 봤다.

 
지경부는 올해 외국인직접투자가 지난해보다 감소할 것으로 전망했다.
