 화성 제부도 제주 신양에 마리나항만 추진

국토해양부는 관계기관 협의와 중앙항만심의위원회 심의를 거쳐 경기도 화성시 제부도에 마리나 항만 건설을 위해 마리나항만구역 약 10만㎡를 지정하고, 제주도 성산읍 신양리 일부를 향후 마리나항만 조성이 가능하도록 마리나항만 기본계획상 마리나 항만예정구역’으로 오는 31일 고시한다. 

 
이에 따라, 지난 10월 마리나항만 구역 내 주거시설을 허용하는 등 마리나항만 제도를 개선하고, 2013년도 정부예산(안)에 마리나항만 건설지원 예산을 최초로 반영한데 이어, 마리나 수요가 많은 수도권과 제주권 내에 마리나항만 건설사업이 본격 추진된다.

 
화성시 제부마리나는 지난 11월 23일 국토해양부가 경기도를 사업시행자로 지정하고, 300척 규모(총사업비 593억) 사업계획을 승인한 데 이어 이번에 총 10만 1000㎡를 마리나항만구역으로 최종 지정함에 따라 내년 초부터 본격 착공될 것으로 전망된다.

 
이에 따라, 현재 수도권내에서 활발히 운영되고 있는 인근 전곡마리나와 연계하여 수도권 해양관광·레저의 중심지로서 부족한 마리나 정박시설을 공급하고, 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 해양 레포츠 수요를 충족시킬 것으로 기대된다.

 
제주 신양마리나는 최근 급증하고 있는 중국 관광객 등에게 다양한 체험형 해양관광상품을 제공하고, 인근 성산일출봉, 섭지코지 등 우수한 관광자원과 연계한 마라나 배후단지를 종합적으로 개발하기 위해 마리나 항만기본계획상 마리나항만 예정구역으로 고시된다. 

 
이외도 국토해양부는 올해 지정된 전국 4개소 소규모 마리나 사업이 올해 설계가 완료됨에 따라 내년부터 본격 착공할 예정이며, 현재 국회에서 심의 중인 ‘거점형 국제 마리나 조성도 2013년도 예산(안)이 확정되는 데로 내년부터 본격 추진할 예정이다
