[미국소리방송]국무부 빅토리아 눌런드 대변인은 27일 정례브리핑에서 북한의 장거리 미사일 발사 가능성이 제기된 것과 관련해 정보 사안에 대해선 언급하지 않겠다고 선을 그었다.
 
다만 이 자리를 빌어 북한이 탄도미사일 기술을 이용한 추가 발사를 하지 말도록 요구한 지난 4월 유엔 안보리 의장성명을 상기시키고 싶다고 밝혔다.
 
앞서 한군 군 당국은 북한이 12월이나 내년 1월 장거리 미사일을 발사할 가능성이 크다는 판단을 내린 것으로 알려졌다.
 
또 미국의 민간 위성업체인 디지털글로브는 북한 동창리 기지에서 관측된 새로운 천막, 트럭, 사람, 이동식 연료와 산화제 탱크 등을 보면 북한이 3주 내에 5번째 위성을 발사할 것으로 보인다는 분석을 내놨다.
