연평도 2년 주민들 ‘쇼크’ 여전

[뉴스파인더 홍범호 기자] 인천시 옹진군 연평도 주민들이 북한의 포격 사태가 2년이 돼 가는 현재까지도 당시의 충격으로 스트레스를 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
인천광역시의료원은 전문의와 임상심리사, 의료사회복지사로 이뤄진 5명의 진료팀이 지난 8월 연평도를 방문해 주민 25명을 진료한 결과 전원이 외상 후 스트레스 장애 증상을 보였다고 21일 밝혔다.
이들은 지난해 타 기관 검진 결과 외상 후 스트레스 장애 고위험군으로 분류됐던 주민 293명 가운데 진료를 신청한 주민들이다.
진료팀은 장애 확진을 위한 심리검사와 면담 등을 위해 주민들에게 의료원에 방문할 것을 권유했다.
의료원은 내년 상반기 중 연평도를 수시로 방문해 이들에 대한 진료와 상담, 처방 활동을 할 계획이다. 보건복지부와 협의해 정기 진료 추진도 계획한다고 밝혔다.
