‘朴 인혁당 평가 사과’ 혼선 책임

[뉴스파인더 박남오 기자] 새누리당 홍일표 대변인이 14일 박근혜 대선후보의 ‘인혁당 평가 사과’를 둘러싼 당내 혼선에 대한 책임을 지고 지도부에 사의를 표명했다.
이날 핵심 당직자는 “홍 대변인의 12일 사과 브리핑에 대해 박 후보가 ‘이야기한 적 없다’고 부인하는 등 혼선을 빚은 일과 관련해 홍 대변인이 지난 12일 밤 당 지도부에 사의를 표명한 것으로 안다”고 말했다.
앞서 홍 대변인은 지난 12일 브리핑에서 박 후보의 ‘인혁당 판결은 2개다. 역사의 판단에 맡겨야 한다’는 발언과 관련해 “박 후보의 표현에 일부 오해의 소지가 있었다는 것을 인정하고 사과한다”고 밝혔으나 박 후보는 이 보도를 접하고 “(홍 대변인과) 그런 얘기를 나눈 적이 없다”고 부인해 혼선이 빚어졌다.
황우여 대표 등 지도부는 홍 대변인의 사퇴를 만류하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
