여운봉 외국인 매수세 당분간 이어질 것
"양날의 칼 미국의 추가 부양책은 나오기 힘들 듯"

유럽발 경제위기로 한동안 국내 주식을 팔았던 외국인들이 앞선 7일 대규모 매수로 전환한 것과 관련, 외국인들의 매수세가 당분간 이어질 것이라는 전망이 나왔다.
A+ 에셋 자산관리연구소 여운봉 수석연구위원은 8일 평화방송 라디오 [열린세상 오늘 서종빈입니다]에 출연 "증시가 상승해서 수익이 날 때 거래가 된다고 하는 소위 비차익거래가 전체 매수액의 대부분을 차지했다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
여 연구원은 "어제 하루 동안 외국인들이 국내 증시 순매수 사이즈가 한 달여 만에 가장 큰 3000억 원대였다"며 "비차익거래의 규모는 4개월 만에 최대 규모였었다"고 전했다.
이어 "이런 뜻은 그만큼 외국인들이 국내 증시를 보는 시각이 다시 긍정적으로 변했다는 것을 입증해 주는 측면"이라고 진단했다.
그는 미국과 중국의 경기부양책에 대해서는 "미국 연준에 버냉키 의장이 미국의회에 참석했지만 추가적인 경기부양책에 대한 언급이 없었다"며 "아직 추가 부양책을 쓸 만큼 그렇게 긴급한 상황은 아니라고 좋게 해석하면 될 것 같다"고 말했다.
그러면서도 그는 "그러나 어제 드디어 중국에 있어서 4년 만에 처음으로 금리인하가 단행이 됐다"면서 "중국 정부가 더 이상의 경기침체를 좌시하지 않겠다는 의지가 나타난 셈이고, 앞으로 이런 중국의 안정적인 성장도 기대되기 때문에 국내 증시나 세계 증시에 끼치는 영향은 미국이 못지않게 긍정적으로 나타날 가능성이 높아졌다"고 내다봤다.
그는 오는 21일에 미연방 공개시장 위원회에서 경기 부양책이 나올 가능성에 대해서는 "지금 양적완화를 펼치기에는 상당히 부담스러운 측면이 있다"며 "아마 최악의 미국 경제에 침체가 나타나지 않는 한 추가부양책을 쓰기에는 어려운 상황"이라고 해석했다.
이어 "추가 부양책을 쓴다는 것은 그만큼 통화를 판다는 것이다. 그렇기 때문에 미국 달러가치 하락으로 인해서 긍정적인 측면도 있겠지만 물가 상승이라고 하는 양날의 칼을 갖고 있는 셈"이라며 "그래서 추가 부양책은 긴급하지 않는 한 나오기는 어려운 상황"이라고 전망했다.
