 박재완 유로존 리스크 예의주시
 “이란산 원유 중단되도 큰 문제 없다”

유로존 위기 확산으로 코스피가 큰 폭의 하락세를 맞고 있는 가운데 우리나라 경제정책의 수장이 이에 따른 변동을 주시하고 있다고 밝혔다.

 
박재완 기획재정부 장관은 15일 서울 프레지던트호텔에서 열린 한국개발정책학회 창립학술회의 축사 이후 기자들에게 "우리 금융시장이 유로존 리스크를 크게 반영하는 모습을 보인다. 변동폭이 펀더멘털에 비해 과민하다는 생각을 한다"고 밝혔다.

  
박 장관은 올해 들어 4월까지 금융시장의 변동성이 아주 낮은 수준을 유지했다면서 최근 원화가 약세를 보이고 코스피가 갑자기 급락해 금융시장을 예의주시하고 있다고 말했다. 


유럽연합(EU)이 이란산 원유수송선박의 보험제공을 중단함으로써 7월부터 이란산 원유 수입이 중단되더라도 큰 문제가 없다고도 했다.

  
이란산 원유 수입이 중단되면 당장 어려움이 있겠지만 대체 수입선을 확보할 수 있다는 것이다.

  
외화예금 확충방안은 6월 이후 발표하기로 했다.

  
박 장관은 "외화예금 확충은 즉시 효과를 내는 정책이 아니어서 서두를 이유가 없다. 시간을 가지고 다음달 이후에 발표할 것이다"고 말했다.
