불법 촛불시위 여女사회자 체포

미국산 쇠고기의 수입 반대 시위 현장에서 마이크를 잡고 카랑카랑한 목소리로 사회를 봤던 새시대예술연합 단장 정보선(여·42)씨가 3일 경찰에 체포됐다.
서울경찰청 광역수사대는 3일 오전 11시30분쯤 영등포구 도림동의 자택에서 정씨를 검거해 종로경찰서로 인계했다고 밝혔다.
정씨는 불법집회 현장에서 마이크를 잡고 사회를 보면서 도로점거 시위를 선동한 혐의 등으로 지난 6월 27일 체포영장이 발부된 뒤 도피생활을 하다, 7월 25일 수배 중인 촛불시위 주동자들이 농성하고 있는 조계사로 들어갔다.
광우병국민대책회의(이하 대책회의)와 경찰에 따르면, 정씨는 범불교도대회가 열린 지난달 27일 인파에 섞여 조계사를 빠져나간 뒤 병원에서 허리 통증 치료를 받아오다 지난 2일 퇴원해 자택에 머물다 체포됐다.
정씨는 맥아더 동상 철거 시위를 벌였던 반미·친북 성향의 '통일연대'와 '한·미FTA저지범국민운동본부' 등에서 일한 인물로, 2002년 6월의 '13회 민족민주열사 희생자 범국민추모제', 2003년 8월의 '반전평화 8·15통일대행진'과 2006년 8월 통일연대의 주최로 열린 '2006 자주통일결의대회' 등에서 사회를 보는 등 여러 집회와 시위에서 단골 사회자로 활동해왔다.
