방통위 “조립된 완제품 pc도 전자파 인증 받아야”
“인증받지 않고 판매 목적pc제조시, 전파법 따라 처벌대 “제도개선 이뤄지기 전에 단속 유예할 방침

(뉴스톡 박고은 기자)방송통신위원회는 9일 “전자파 적합성 평가를 받은 부품으로 조립된 완제품 PC도 별도의 시험과 인증을 받아야 한다”고 밝혔다.
이와 더불어 방통위는 “인증을 받지 않고 판매 목적으로 PC를 제조하면 전파법에 따라 처벌대상이 된다”고 덧붙였다.
방통위는 "부품별로 인증을 받았다고 하더라도 완제품 PC로 만들어지면 전자파 발생량이 달라질 수 있기 때문이다”고 완제품 조립PC가 인증을 받아야 하는 이유에 대해설명했다.
방통위는 “하지만, 조립PC를 제조하는 영세업체가 제품별로 시험 및 인증 비용을 모두 감당하기 어려운 현실을 고려해 제도개선을 추진키로 하고 제도개선이 이뤄질 때까지 단속을 유예할 방침이다”고 전했다.
