 한미일 당국자 제주도서 비공개 안보 회의

"김정일 사후 북한의 정치·군사적 동향과 김정은 체제의 안정성여부 집중 논의"

 지난해 북한 독재자 김정일 사망 이후 처음으로 한·미·일 세 나라의 고위 국방당국자들이 모여 회담을 열고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
 
 한국과 미국, 일본의 국방당국자들이 30일부터 31일까지 이틀간 일정으로 제주도에서 비공개 차관보급 회담을 열고 최근의 북한 정세 변화와 한반도 안보 상황을 논의하고 있다고 YTN이 31일 보도했다.

 이번 회담에는 한국의 임관빈 국방부정책실장, 미국 피터 라보이 국방부 아시아태평양 안보차관보 대리, 일본에서는 니시 마사노리 방위성방위정책국장이 참석했다.

이들 참석자들은 이번 회의에서 김정일 사후 북한의 정치·군사적 동향과 김정은 체제의  안정성여부를 집중적으로 논의하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.

 또 북한이 올해 내부 결속과 체제 유지를 위해 도발을 감행할 가능성에 대비해 3국 국방당국 사이 긴밀한 대북 정보공유 체제를 유지키로 한 것으로 전했다.(konas)
