 조동원 “한나라당 미쳐야 변한다”
 “변화는 사지에서 일어나는 것”

조동원 한나라당 홍보기획본부장은 10일 당 쇄신과 관련해 “한나라당이 미쳐야 한나라당이 변하고, 나라가 변하고, 국민이 안심할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

 
조 본부장은 이날 오전 국회에서 열린 원내대책회의에 참석해 “한나라당이 미쳤으면 좋겠다”며 이같이 말했다.

 
그는 “누군가 나를 보고 미쳤다고 하고 친구들이 왜 사지에 들어갔느냐고 했다”며 “하지만 변화는 사지에서 일어난다”고 주장했다.

 
이어 “전날 당 비상대책위원회에 참석해 나는 미치겠다고 말했다”며 “비대위에서 국민이 공감하는 좋은 상품을 만들어 끝까지 미칠 수 있게 해달라”고 요구했다.

 
‘침대는 가구가 아닙니다’와 ‘우리 강산 푸르게 푸르게’라는 광고카피를 만들어 이름이 잘 알려진 조 본부장은 앞서 임명 하루만인 6일 “나는 한나라당을 지지하지 않았던 사람”이라며 소신을 밝혀 눈길을 끌기도 했다.
