밀입북한 황혜로와 서대문구청과의 인연
서대문구가 후원한 행사 주최단체의 수석연구위원

‘자주통일과 민주주의를 위한 코리아연대’(약칭 코리아연대)라는 단체의 공동대표인 황혜로 씨가 정부의 승인없이 김정일 조문을 위해 밀입북한 것으로 알려져 파문이 일고 있다.
황 씨는 24일 중국 북경에서 고려항공편으로 방북했다고 한다. 코리아연대 측은 26일 오전 정부청사 후문 앞에서 기자회견을 갖고 이같이 밝혔다.
방북한 황 씨는 지난 1999년 한총련 대표로 방북, 국가보안법 위반 혐의로 2년 6개월 간 복역한 전력이 있다.
그는 특히 최근 서울 서대문구청이 후원한 행사(코리아국제포럼)를 주최한 ‘21세기코리아연구소’ 수석연구위원이다.
황 씨가 언제 귀국할지는 아직 알려지지 않고 있다. 귀국할 경우, 국가보안법 위반 혐의로 처벌이 불가피할 전망이다.
